i think that wuld be really cool if you guys followed ypou own team throught a season on cyber gamer. that would be something i would wotch on this site.

And if you had a team who would you put in it like comentators or people who work on the site or would you just grab some people who would like to play for you.

I think that would be awesome.

There are a few "Gamestah" teams, but none actually call themselves that. There's EJ & BoB's L4D team (Do you guys still play) and a few others. It's more often then not fun - the guys who are serious are parts of other teams, not a whole Gamestah team.

Besides - if we're all playing WHO WOULD BE DOING THE CASTING?!?
Answer = someone inferior (i.e. anyone but me amirite guise?!?!)

I think we try to remain as neutral as possible with teams, hence why we don't have a designated "Gamestah" team. We don't want to show favouritism to any one team, we want to be able to cater to all teams.

Most if not all Gamestah casters play in competitive teams.

The wombles (l4d2) often field a team of current and former Gamestah staff.

Arsey and I ran a Battleracer team and called it gamestah with the tags G*

We got i think it was 6th without racing lol

so use have never had a liget team where you plays matches....... have you every thought off haveing like a rep side for Gamestah ... that would be priity awesome....

little off topic but...

Me and some mates from my old clan have made a new team how do you get your name out there so people ask to join and stuff like whats it take to get know by people.
Also do any competing cyber gamer teams have sponsers.... if so what would you need to get to a level where people would sponser your team .... would you need to be in the CGi ladder..... or your team has to be really good.

I'll make an attempt at answering some of this.

No, gamestah does not have a "legit" team to play matches, in the interest if being netutal and thus ensuring the integrity of it's casters.

You will find however many casters play on teams in ladders that they cast (and some they dont). And in some cases a few casters may be in the same team.

So you just started up your team? Cool. Congrats. Join the Club. there is no hard and fast way of getting sponsors, apart from proving your case. being able to prove the sponsors that they will get exposure and thus return for sponsoring you. This means lan events (the more the merrier) and lots of online playing. and lots of prac.

i could keep going on and on. sponsorship isnt easy in gaming, as the incentive (audience) isnt there.

so win some tourneys and build up a stable team that isnt going to fall apat any time soon.

most companys that make gamign periferals have on thier websites a spot for applying for sponsorship. (google is your friend)
