Ladies and gentlemen, we’re extremely proud to announce our very own League of Legends tournament – Ring of Champions: The Road to L.A! All the top gamers from Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam (yes, we’re flying them down, thanks to Air Asia) will collide in our very first Ring of Champions tournament. The tournament will take place from 4th to 5th September 2010 to determine Southeast Asia’s best League of Legends team. The team will be sent to the World Cyber Games Grand Finals 2010 in Los Angeles, California, where they will compete against the top League of Legends teams from USA, Europe and China. Ring of Champions will be one of the biggest gaming events held in Southeast Asia, with 40 gamers from Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam in 8 teams battling it out at the Singapore Expo for a chance to fly to the City of Angels. All the action from the tournament will be broadcast online in the form of a video miniseries at lol.garena.com, and will feature exclusive player profiles and interviews in addition to recaps of the games played. 8 teams. 4 countries. 1 road. Follow their journey and how it unfolds, here… within the Ring of Champions. |
